Apple iPad

Released in April 2010, the Apple iPad is a revolutionary tablet that allows people to browse the Internet, check emails, watch videos, listen to music and much more! In June, Apple announced that it had sold its three millionth iPad - a short 80 days after being released in the US. There are over 200,000 apps available in the App Store that are compatible with the iPad.

The iPad has a multi-touch screen that allows users to interact with the programs and applications available. With the iBooks Store, iPad users can read their favorite novels or scan a newspaper without having to leave the comfort of their home. The high-resolution display pops on the 9.7 inch LED-backlit screen. It weighs only 1.5 pounds and the thickness is a mere 0.5 inch. The battery life averages 10 hours and runs on Wi-Fi for wireless connection on the go. With the many functions of the Apple iPad, it's no wonder this gadget became such a hit in such a short time.
